Hi, Pastor Draper.
 
Your note came at a perfect time to bring some encouragement to us here at A Center For Women. It's hard some days not to believe that the dark side is winning.  Faith is required, for sure, but the encouragement of other saints who remember to care about pregnant women, about crisis pregnancies, about needs and hurts expressed in oceans of tears -- well, that kind of encouragement is precious to me.  And I thank you for it.
 
We'd love to get access to prenatal vitamins for our clients again. The March of Dimes grants we've been able to get in the past for these have all disappeared as the economy has worsened.  Folic-acid rich vitamins are LIFE-saving, really they are. 
 
Medicaid benefits keep getting cut and, even for the poorest here in FL, Medicaid is not covering the cost of prenatals.  It's such a simple thing that does so much to prevent tragedy and insure a healthy start to life.

Pastor, it is time for the church to step up! Our ministry makes it possible for EVERY church to do just a little bit to make a HUGE difference.
 
WE ARE NOT SEEKING CHURCH BUDGET FUNDS! Every church has the means to help.
 
Our ministry focuses on assisting active ministries within the church such as men's and women's ministries in raising the small amount of funds through mission projects. These funds are then used by the church to provide prenatal vitamins for just one woman per month at a cost of less than $20 per month. 
 
The church orders the vitamins directly from the manufacturer, and the vitamins are shipped directly to the CPC or clinic. 100% of the money goes to purchase the vitamins!
 
This is something EVERY church should do, and something that EVERY church easily can do.
 
There is no ongoing cost of commitment to the church.
